Verse 1
The Word incarnate sacrificed his life upon the cross, and willed that he should die for one and all.
And though this sacrifice he gave to man what men had lost through that fateful deed which brought about his fall.

We offer this bread to you, O Lord, we offer this wine.
In union with Christ our Lord and God, we offer you praise, we offer you praise.
Verse 2
O let your Spirit come upon these gifts of bread and wine to sanctify the offering in your name.
And send your advocate to gather all men into one that in union we may praise your holy name.
Verse 3
So in this Eucharistic feast we call to mind the love which God revealed through Christ his only Son.
The Spirit came upon him as a sign from God above that his mission in the world has just begun.
Verse 4
He called the twelve together and he gave them this command, "You must do this in memory of me."
Each time you eat this food you eat my Body, drink my Blood, and you offer praise to God the Trinity.
