Theme Hymn for the 50 Years of Novena Devotions at Novena Church, Thomson Road, Singapore, commemorated with Our Lady's Procession on 5 Sep 99.

The Procession was held on Sunday 5the Sept 2004.
The heavens opened and we experienced "showers of blessing " 2hrs before the ceremonies werer to being at 6pm reherasals had to be pushed back but as always, Jesus and Our Lady came to the rescue.
The showers refreshed the flowers and everyone present and the celebrations began without any hitch.
The people have been unstinting. They arrived inthe hundres and filled the grounds, the courtyards and the church inside. Across the road the crowd gathered to join in prayer and song. 15,000 booklets were printed and given out.
The 90 strong combined choir gathered at 3pm to
rehearse and it was a long day for them.
The celebrations began with a 20 minute Praise and Worship session by the Novena Youth Team.
Annimator Francis Chowdhurie then rehearsed the psalm and ran through the music for the Mass.
At 6pm the Rosary began and Our Lady's float was
carried around the grounds.
The combined choir led the people in song.
This year they stood on a two tier platform so they
had a clear view of the celebrations and this made for better projection.
Conductor Jacqueline Lau assisted by Eric Siah managed the choir.The people could see them too and this helped the interaction.There werer on their feet for more than 5 hrs but they gave it their all. It was a job well done.
It is always a wonderful experience to hear the people of God particapate in prayer and in song.
This is how it must always be.
